Storm Eowyn
In January 2025 St Joseph’s Parochial House, which dates to the early 1890’s, was damaged by Storm Eowyn. The lead lifted from the roof of the old historic building and repairs were required. Scaffolding was erected in September 2025 and a company engaged to fix the roof. This involved replacing the damaged lead and repointing and painting the chimney, which has now been completed. The view of the church from the roof was spectacular!
